Santos star
Neymar has confessed that he is flattered to be linked with a move to
Real Madrid.
The Brazilian sensation was strongly tipped in the summer transfer window to move to the Vicente Calderon, but the forward's wish to help Santos win the Club World Cup in December stood in the way of a transfer.
Neymar is widely expected to move to Madrid in a €45 million switch in the winter transfer window or as late as next summer, and he spoke of his delight with stories about the Copa Del Rey's interest in his service.
"I feel very flattered by them, but at the moment I have made the decision to keep playing in Brazil," Neymar told
AS.
"I have nothing decided [about a move to Europe]. What is clear is that, after the end of the transfer window, I will keep playing in Brazil.
"At Santos I have the guarantee I am with my family. There, I am happy and I have my friends. I look at many things with my heart and I decided this it was not the moment to leave."
